Best Practices for Using Wizard
To ensure the best experience while using Wizard, here’s a detailed guide on best practices to help you efficiently retrieve on-chain data and support services.Clear and precise questions are essential. Wizard relies on your queries to understand your needs, so it’s important to be clear and avoid vague or ambiguous phrasing. For example:
Vague subject: "How does cross-chain work?" → "How can I transfer 100 USDT from Ethereum to Merlin Chain?"
Vague scope: "What about the holders of MERL?" → "Who are the top five holders of the MERL token, and what are their addresses?"
Clearly stating your intent helps prevent misunderstandings and allows Wizard to provide quick, accurate answers.
If Wizard’s response doesn’t fully meet your needs, feel free to follow up with more details. If Wizard’s answer doesn’t completely match your expectations, you can refine the query by adding more context or rephrasing it. For instance, if you ask,
"How is my transaction going?"
Without providing a transaction hash, the response may be inaccurate. In this case, follow up with something like,
"Please check the status of the transaction with hash 0x9876543210abcdef9876543210abcdef98765432 on Merlin Chain."
If you’re not satisfied with an answer, you can ask Wizard step by step:
"What transactions have been made from my address recently?"
"What was the Gas fee for one of these transactions?"
When asking questions, try to provide all relevant details, but avoid making overly complex requests in one go. Instead, break them down into smaller, more focused questions.
Providing complete information is crucial for successful queries. Blockchain data queries require a high level of accuracy. For example,
Provide the full address to query an address
E.g., 0x121 → 0x1234567890abcdef1234567890abcdef12345678
Provide the full transaction hash to query a transaction E.g., 0xabc → 0xc839c3eee3403806d80e9c444f712d3bf42909bac5db8b70c5c4b19c40c9ab3b
Specify the name or symbol when querying a token E.g., "Token" → "MERL"
Provide the address when asking to check your balance E.g., "Check my balance" → "Please check the balance of 0x1234567890abcdef1234567890abcdef12345678 on Merlin Chain"
Complete information improves query efficiency.Wizard supports natural language interaction, but overly complex questions can affect the quality of responses. It’s recommended to break down complex requests into simpler, more focused questions, while providing context. For example, instead of asking all at once like
“What is the balance, transaction history, and token holdings of my address?”
Try asking step by step:
“Please check the balance of address 0x1234567890abcdef1234567890abcdef12345678 on Merlin Chain.”
“What are the last 3 transactions for this address?”
“Which tokens does this address hold?”
Breaking down your questions allows Wizard to address each request more clearly and provide more organized responses.
On-chain data queries: Currently, only Merlin Chain data is supported; queries for other blockchains are not available.
Wizard currently supports queries only for Merlin Chain-related information and does not provide data for other blockchain networks. For instance, you can ask,
“What is the balance of address 0x1234567890abcdef1234567890abcdef12345678 on Merlin Chain?”
“What is the price of the MERL token on Merlin Chain?”
However, if you ask,
“What is my balance on Ethereum?”
“What is the transaction status on Polygon?”
Wizard will not be able to provide an answer, as my data is limited to the Merlin Chain ecosystem. To ensure successful queries, please make sure your question is related to Merlin Chain and clearly specify "Merlin Chain" to avoid confusion and invalid requests.
Ensure a stable network connection
A stable network and wallet connection are essential for using Wizard effectively. If your network is unstable, Wizard may struggle to retrieve data. For instance, if you encounter an issue while querying your balance, it could be due to a connection problem. We recommend checking your network status and then re-asking the question. Additionally, during peak hours on the Merlin Chain network, there may be data delays. It's advisable to avoid these peak times or simply be patient. A stable connection ensures real-time data retrieval and smooth queries.By following these best practices, you can use Merlin Wizard more efficiently and easily access on-chain information and support services from Merlin Chain!
